Find answers to common questions about our cobot rental program.
What are cobots and what do they do?
A cobot, or collaborative robot, is a robot intended for direct human-robot interaction and collaboration within a shared space, or where humans and robots are working in close proximity. Cobot applications contrast with traditional industrial robot applications in which robots are isolated from human contact. These collaborative solutions often best service slower production lines that have a constant stream of product that is allowed to palletize over a long period of time.
How does the cobot rental program work?
- Assess Your Needs: Determine if your specific requirements align with our cobot capabilities. If you’re unsure, our team can assist you in determining your requirements.
- Initiation Fee: A one-time initiation fee covers the integration, deployment of the cobot at your facility, and necessary training for your team.
- Minimum Rental Commitment: There’s a minimum 3-month rental commitment to ensure adequate time for evaluation.
Should I rent or purchase a collaborative robot?
Our cobot rental program offers a flexible solution to test the benefits of collaborative robotics without the significant upfront investment of purchasing a cobot outright.
By renting instead of purchasing, you significantly reduce upfront costs, making it easier to test how a collaborative robot can improve your facility’s safety, throughput, and efficiency.
