The robotic palletizer from Columbia/Okura can palletize cases at speeds up to 60 cases per minute. The infeed conveyor pre-groups cases into rows, and the robotic palletizer’s end effector picks up entire rows to place on the pallet. The efficiency of the palletizing combined with the robot’s rugged construction lets the palletizer run continuously and with little need for maintenance.

Columbia/Okura Palletizing System Overlaps Bags for Increased Stability and Bags-per-pallet
With Columbia/Okura’s robotic palletizer, loose filled bags can overlapped for increased pallet stability and bags per pallet. Special end effectors shift product allowing the “floppy” bag ends to be overlapped. Crowning of the load in the center is prevented as well, and palletized loads can be double or triple stacked in the warehouse.
